There's so much I could go on about but then I'd be telling the whole story. The plot was minimal and the relationship was just silly. I guess I was just hoping for more. For 0. View 2 comments. Apr 21, Tara Nicole Catterton rated it it was amazing. This was the first book I read by Cerys. I loved it and all the continuing books for the story line since.
This was an awesome book and a must read. Cerys du Lys is a great author who I've really connected with in regards to the books. They are not over the top BDSM which is a nice change and has more of a romantic side than most of the Erotica genre novels I read. I cannot wait for the next installment of the continuum's to see where the story leads. Jul 18, Mira rated it liked it. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review Well, this book was just ok for me. I sometimes kind of close my eyes in some scenes because it was just kinda off and too much for me. Jessika and Asher made me crazy.
Crazy good and crazy bad. I mean, I sometimes don't get them especially Asher. Hate the cheating but loved the HOT scenes!

This book could have easily been a 4 star book if the author would have stuck with a theme. His wife is infertile and Asher desperately wants a child. Asher wants Jessika to become and egg donor for him and his wife. This book made absolutely no sense. The first chapter was the best part of the entire book.
I almost feel cheated and wish the author would have scraped the first chapter all together because it did not flow with the rest of the book. How the hero and heroine met was completely unrealistic, and the fact that he asked the maid to be an egg donor after knowing her for 20min was terrible. The story just did not flow and there was no character development. Jessika — I think that I dislike this heroine more than any other heroine I have ever read in my entire life. I know that may seem harsh but it is the truth. She was weak, bipolar, annoying and so desperate. I mean she reeked with desperation.
All through the book I kept yelling for her to get a freaking grip. And the worst part was she would not leave his house. It was not cute, endearing, or passionate, it was insanity.

And I could not understand how she did not have at least one friend to talk some sense into her. Lastly who falls in love with a married man in 3 days…no one does. She chased and baited that married man but she constantly stated how shy and insecure she was…really.
I did not sense that at all. Asher — Well Chapter 1 Asher was interesting, but the Asher in the rest of the book was just okay. He was a nice guys and I was rooting for him to come out on top with his issues.

I did feel bad that he was in a loveless marriage, but he should have been more of a man about the situation. One minute he was dominate and take charge and in the next minute he was sappy and pathetic. Lastly Jeremy — I actually liked this character but he and Jessika became friends way too quickly.
What friend does that? Not cool All in all I applaud the author on what she tried to accomplish here. If you are looking for a book with hot love scenes, a good plot, and less than stellar charters this is for you. Overall, a 3,5 stars, not what I expected but definitely not bad either. The plot: Jessika majored in English Language and Literature but has to do menial jobs to pay the bills.
She soon finds herself sexually punished by the handsome CEO.
Acting upon the fresh new of his wife's infertility, Asher asks Jessika to donate egg and be a surrogate mother who'll give her future Overall, a 3,5 stars, not what I expected but definitely not bad either. Acting upon the fresh new of his wife's infertility, Asher asks Jessika to donate egg and be a surrogate mother who'll give her future child away. They will then embark on an unconventional relationship, alternating bestween passion and restrain, Asher being married and struggling to remain faithfull to his wife. I honestly took time to warm to Jessika's character. At first, I perceived her as weak, easy and naive.
Owner of a degree in English Language and Literature she had to be bright but acted erratically, oscillating between being subdued and willing to lead Asher astray. One moment thinking "I can't", "I don't want to be a homewrecker" and the other enticing him provocatively.here

The first forcefull sexscene seemed promising of a great alpha male character but soon enough, Asher became distant, polite, righteous and nearly disappointingly "meek" to me! I thought "What the heck! Does he have guts? If he is so righteous, what was that first scene? I must confess I was lost. As the story unfold, Jessika and Asher's temperaments affirmed themselves. I warmed to their "lunacy".
